A guy in my office just said that Queen's best album was "the greatest hits CD with the red cover".
And people wonder why I want to explode sometimes.
Worst of all, this guy's a "musician" (in that he writes and plays music in a band).
To me, saying a band's best album is one of their "Greatest Hits" collections is like saying, "I sure am glad I voted for George W. Bush."
Update : In that it says you are an idiot.

I don't believe in Peter Pan..
I know you're all fully capable of hopping around all the comic blogs yourself, but I can't help but share things.

Searching for the reason..
You can rearrange the letters in "Chris Haley" into "Ash lyric, eh?"
That is awesome.
I guess it helps to know Ash is one of my top five favorite bands of all time.

If you must pretend..

I got this today.
It's pretty awesome.
The figure is called "Crime Stopper Batman".
That is hilarious to me.
I may put him on my desk at work.

It's the girl in the front..
So 4 years and 6 issues of Mighty Avengers later (I'm estimating how long it's taken Frank Cho to finish these six issues), Bendis' ridiculous re-imagining of the "thought bubble" finally gives us two panels with insight into the characters' thoughts that were worth wasting all our time over.

Let us all thank Mr. Bendis.

All day the radio's been playin' the same song..
So I saw Sweeney Todd over the weekend.
I liked it okay as I left the theater, but the further away from it I've gotten the more I like it.
I think the grammar, tense-wise, in that last sentence was all over the place, but what do you care, this is free.
Once I get access to better, less restricted internet I'll have some real, worthwhile content on the way.
I may have to breakdown and pay for the internet at home. Boooo!

You want antidote..
I'm still famous!
On the internets!
Say It Backwards has a whole post up just about little ol' me.
Wonders never cease.
My thanks, of course, to Thomas for the acknowledgment.
I tried to get back on the Werewolf vs Zombies ball last night, by drawing a new strip.. at a bar. As you can imagine, things didn't go very well.
I did manage a decent idea though, so I'll do it up for real soon.

The clouds are starting to unwind...
More Werewolf vs Zombie is on the way, but the holidays really screwed my internal calendar up. I felt really bad for missing last week, but I honestly had no idea an entire week had passed since I'd posted the last one. I was having too much fun not having to work, I guess.
Now that my schedule is back to normal (blah) I should be back on the ball with it.
My thanks to Jason for reminding me that I needed to post this WvZ update.

I'm going to a town..
Also, and this has nothing to do with anything, but I'm going to try to break 400 posts this year.
I'm not really into the resolutions thing, but I'd like to set this goal for myself.
I also will make the promise to you (the reader) that I will try not to pad it out with bullshit posts like this.
Unless I'm really, really behind come October.

That 50s movie monster..
So here's how my lunch went.
This is 100% true.
Taco Bell Drive-Thru Lady (TBDTL) : How are you doing today?
Me : I'm great, how're you?
TBDTL : Fine, can I take your order?
Me : What's the sauce I'm seeing on the Cheesy Gordita Crunch?
TBDTL : That's our Baja Sauce.
Me : Oh, well that's good, okay.
TBDTL : But we're out of it.
Me : The sauce or the whole thing?
TBDTL : The Baja sauce.
Me : Oh. Okay. Can I order it anyway?
TBDTL : Yes, sir.
Me : Will it cost less? (at this point Maggie, who's in the car with me, cracks up)
TBDTL : (Laughs) No, sir.
Me : Okay. Well, I'd like the combo.
TBDTL : Okay. I could put sour cream on it for you instead.
Me : Oh, no thanks, I'm actually allergic to sour cream.
TBDTL : I'm sorry.

We want Sweet!
The Weekly Crisis has put together a thoroughly enjoyable Best of 2007.
I can't say as I agree with all of it, but that's what's fun about these lists, isn't it?

And everything you think it's about..
At some point earlier this year I started writing (and abandoned) alternate lyrics to the old Spider-Man theme song.
Spider-Man, Spider-Man
Does whatever I tell him too
Spins a web, hits on guys
Catches thieves with curly fries
That's as far as I got.
This honestly made me laugh when I rediscovered it, so I thought I'd share it as a Christmas present to you.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
