Or do you feel the same..

Oasis + U2

No one ever said it would be easy..

Extreme + Coldplay = More Than a Scientist

There's a time for us..

The Weekly Crisis explores The Pros & Cons of the Return of Barry Allen.

I feel like the list they put forth is pretty much right on the money.

Also, if you're the type of person who's reading this and cares enough about comics and The Flash to click on the link and read that list, be sure to read the comments section too.

To go along with this post, I have two thematically/titularly* related songs for you to enjoy:

Phoenix - Run Run Run

OK Go - Return

* = I am told that this is a real word.

If I knew back then..

This one is just for special guy, Sean George.
DJ Danny Diggz - Jackin' Jay-Z (Wonderwall Mash)

She loves me now..

Today's theme song : 1000 Miles Per Hour by OK Go

oh you've got me paralyzed..

Today's theme song : "Rocknrollworld" by AutoVaughn
Trust me, it's really good.

Got me lookin' so crazy right now..

Today's theme songs!

Sure Can Start.

Oh Well, Okay.

Oh, don't be shy..

Just updated Let's Be Friends Again.

Today's theme song is Heroes by Hot Leg.

It's a little silly, but it's fun and upbeat and I like it.

I think it could sorta be the theme song for my Responsible Adult = Secret Identity post.

I think it's safe..

Today's theme song : mc chris (feat. Andrew WK) - Never Give Up

You are the shadow of fear..

Even more pre-release Sloan goodness thanks to Fluxblog and Said the Gramophone.
Fluxblog has a nice review of the new album and the track "Witch's Wand", and StG has a musing on Sloan's place in Dan's life and "Cheap Champagne".
Get 'em while they're still up and awaiting your listening pleasure.

Would you please pretend..

Stereogum has my favorite track (I'm Not A Kid Anymore) from the upcoming Sloan album, Parallel Play, available for free (and legal) download!
Doesn't get much better than that.

Again with this.

Kasabian - Club Foot (Live)

Don't start me talkin'..

Blur - Oliver's Army (Live)
Minus Story - Hybrid Moments (Misfits Cover)
Switchyard - Hybrid Moments (Who knew this was such a popular cover for ladies and piano?)

I continue on my Sloan kick.

Enjoy some live Sloan from their album 4 Nights at the Palais Royale courtesy of Neiles Life.
Coax Me - One of my favorite Sloan tunes, and a song that contains one of the best lies I've ever heard in a song "it's not the band I hate, it's their fans"
Everything You've Done Wrong - Possibly even more fun live since the horns in the album version are replaced with vocals.
