Apparently it's been 25 years since the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were created and to celebrate this, facsimile editions of the original TMNT action figures (same packaging and everything) are being sold at retail establishments that deal in such goods. (I don't know why I phrase things the way I do.)

Don't do anything stupid with that..

I wanna do right, but not right now..

As we can see from this (not great) scan/cameraphone photo (?) from the upcoming issue of Toyfare, Mattel is finally going to take advantage of the fact that they have the license to make figures from any DC Comics movie.
Of course, if you are like me I know that you are now waiting with baited breath to see if we'll finally get the one figure everyone wants : Shaquille O'Neal as STEEL!*


* - I am completely kidding, Mattel. Please do not take this seriously. A Christopher Reeve as Superman is what everyone wants. You have to know this, right? I mean, there's no way they don't know, right? Right?!
