Cool Things I Recently Purchased : Part 5

I also got both of these little guys in New York at Toy Tokyo.
If you take a good look at these two, you'll notice that if I made them face each other it would basically be the dirtiest thing ever.

Now I'm in a good mood..

Speaking of video games on the Wii, King of the Monsters came out on WiiWare this week!
Could the Wii be any more awesome?

I like the old songs better..

Mega Man 9 - first footage
Uploaded by rawmeatcowboy

This is a "trailer" for Mega Man 9!
Capcom is making it and releasing it as a downloadable game for the Wii!
Enjoy more information here!
Curt tried to tell me about this at a bar last week I think, but I'd completely forgotten about it until now.

I'm sorry you have to stay out here..

Hang down your head, Tom Dooley..
I cannot wait to read this.
More at Newsarama.

Always on the outside, always looking in...

Dylan and I have made what is essentially a perfect mix.
It is called Ping of Pong.

On the fourth of July (July 4th) while listening to his "High Five!" mix, I had the idea that Dylan and I should collaborate on a mix for all of you nice people. The idea was that we'd take turns back and forth until the mix was completed with each new song having to somehow relate to the song before it.
From that, Dylan came up with the idea of calling the mix "PONG" (... you know, because we were going back and forth).
I thought this was particularly brilliant of him.
Going off around two hours of sleep, the title "Ping of Pong" (see King of Kong) made me giggle like a school-girl so I shared it with Dylan.
Apparently he hadn't had much sleep either, because he liked it too.

Then he made the awesome cover you see above and it suddenly became a great title no matter how much sleep you've had.

We're planning on offering an explanation of sorts as to how the songs are connected at some point soon, but I'd love to hear any of your theories on how/why one song leads to another.

We have to go..

The most incredible The Dark Knight trailer I've seen yet.

Stop yelling at me..

I know this guy.
He is awesome.
Go check it out.

Sadly though..

So, even though the comic is feeling pretty pointless, I always enjoy Ed McGuinness' art.
As such, I'd like to have this figure based on his art.
The problem is I have to buy all these crappy figures to get it.

And now you know it's true..

(We're always pal-in' around and laughin' and what-not.)
If you can believe it, Curt has updated!

Hit me without warnin'...

Amazon has let the bat out of the bag once again. (And people wonder why Curt is the writer.)
January 6, 2009.
I think we all know we'll all be there.

It wards them off...

Guhhhh!
I wish I was going to SDCC so bad!
Damn these exclusives!
I would gladly pay the required $50 for this mc chris mini-statue based on Nate Bellegarde's art.
