You heard my pal..

Has ever an image so thoroughly encapsulated the entirety of my being?

Nothing gets so bad..

How could anyone not want this shirt?

There's no surprise..

A look at the goodies in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 20th Anniversary Edition DVD Set due out on October 28.

It can't be denied..

Not getting political at all here, but watching this video of a doddering old man struggling to string together a coherent sentence that even remotely resembles an answer to the questions he's been asked makes me really sad.
I am NOT trying to be insulting or make fun of him.
I'm serious, it makes me sad. It makes me feel bad for him to see a local news guy have him twisting in the wind like that.
I don't know the guy or anything, but he doesn't seem like a bad person and I certainly respect what he's been through for our country, so don't misunderstand me, I am sincerely not trying to be rude or disrespectful.
I am just sad for him and for our country if we elect this man.
More information on the factual errors in his answers in this interview can be found here.

His backpack has jets..

Just yes.
No matter what happens with the LHC or the election, this is a fine time to be alive.
This is proof that the terrorists did not win.

Is he strong?

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 9!
It's Spider-Time!

Presented CHRONOLOGICALLY for your pleasure!

Titans Together!

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 8!

I love nostalgia as much as the next guy, but the newer version totally kicks that older one's ass.

All lines to the living...

Via Newsarama : "More specifically Bendis went on to say the post-Invasion Marvel Universe will feature a complete change in his Avengers family of titles, including Bendis leaving Mighty Avengers with issue #20 and the launch of a new title Dark Avengers, with art by Mike Deodato."

Via my brain : "HAHAHAHA!"
Even moreso after reading this rather intelligent proposal to get comics back to the glory days. And I don't mean the 90s.

Steel cable! Just what I need!

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 7!
Wednesday is Flash Day!

I don't care what you call me..

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 6!

I have absolutely no recollection of that one at all.
I'm enjoying it now though.

These I remember all too well though.

Haven't seen you in a while..

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 5!
Now we're talking.

Should you need it here are two more Batman cartoon intros : 1977 and 1985(?).

And finally, one of the greatest things I've ever posted :
The Best Part of Batman & Robin

Never forget..

I've been doing some research, and it turns out something like 80% of all the cool websites about comics are all by the same guy.

That guy's name is Rob.
Just when I think I've seen all the sites about Aquaman or Slurpee Cups this guy could possibly come up with, some other site will link to something that links to somewhere that will invariably lead me to some undiscovered (by me) site of Rob's that's basically about something I love.
Today I discovered his shrine to the digest sized comics of my childhood.
I absolutely love these old digests because much of the groundwork for all of my knowledge of the superheroes and comics I love today was laid by these inexpensive little collections relatives would buy for me at the grocery store or Walgreen's on the way out of town to read in the car.
Was that a ridiculous run-on sentence? Yes, it was. Sorry.
These little collections contain some of the earliest stories I ever remember reading of my favorite 4-Color Champions.
I actually had the one pictured here and I remember having no idea what was going on in most of it, but I knew that the ideas being put forth were obviously pretty awesome.
And after reading Final Crisis : Superman Beyond 3D #1, I think Grant may have thought the same thing.

They hunted mammoth as well..

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 4!

Boy, I guess this one could really go either way couldn't it?
Has a nice grand feel to it, but doesn't seem especially mighty does it?
Personally, I'd rather see them take the Thor movie in this direction though..

Awesome, right?
Maybe Marvel can get Dethklok to do the soundtrack.
Couldn't be any worse than this.

Right back where we started from..

Bottle Rocket.
Life just got a little better.

Take me down..

I saw just now that Super Punch linked to this picture yesterday, and though it is awesome, the real reason I decided to post about it is because I SAW A DELOREAN ON MY WAY TO WORK TODAY!

Dude was all drivin' hella fast like he had somewhere to be.
It was pretty much as awesome as you would have hoped for it to be.

Gone upstairs?

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 3!

Probably best they didn't use this song for that new Hulk movie.

They should be going..

Superhero Video Posting Week : Part 2!

Wouldn't that Iron Man movie have been just a little better if this had been the theme song?

I guess there's always a chance they could use it in the sequel.
The only question now is who can we get to sing it...

They won't take offense..

Politics are fun (and funny) but let's not forget, this is what I'm really all about.

I'm sure there will be plenty of my usual posts this week as well, but I'm officially making this "Superhero Video Posting Week".
