The very idea of something called Marvel Mighty Beans is hilarious to me.

UGO's Top 11 Video Game Cartoons.

Twentieth Century Fox has begun the very early stages of working on a Simpsons movie. It is expected that most of the best writers from the show's fifteen seasons will be helping to create a script worthy of Springfield's most famous family.

Get a load of what The Joker may look like in that new Batman cartoon I spoke of a few days ago: click.
Also, it appears this new cartoon will have the most technologically advanced android toys ever created.

While we're on the subject of Batman, Liam Neeson has just been added to the cast of Batman : Intimidation (starring Christian Bale and directed by Christopher Nolan). Neeson will be playing the film's villian Ra's al Ghul... which for the uninitiated into the world of comic geekdom translates to "The Demon's Head".

For those of you who haven't heard yet, BUTCH WALKER has been signed to Epic Records and given his own (yet-to-be-named) imprint through which he will be releasing a live disc, a DVD, and then his long awaited sophmore solo album.
We should have all of these things in our grubby little mitts before the end of 2004.

Josh Homme has kicked Nick Oliveri out of Queens of the Stone Age because of his excessive partying.
That doesn't sound like a particularly rock and roll reason to kick someone out of a band.
Van Connor of Screaming Trees has been announced via the official QOTSA site as Oliveri's replacement.

Though I'm sure none of you care, but since I do, Judas Priest will indeed be one of the headlining act on this year's Ozzfest.

Rumors continue to persist that Van Halen is planning a summer tour. Time will tell I suppose.

AC/DC are working on material for a new album.

News for the Iron Maiden fans.

All kinds of Motorhead news.

Did anyone else know there's a Mini- KISS?
Does anyone else find these pictures from one of their shows unsettling?
While I'm on the subject of strange things, did anyone else read the article on these kids in Rolling Stone a few months ago?
I wonder what Axl thinks of all of this.

I too have thought of owning a pet alligator... hopefully, with results of equal or greater hilarity.

George Lucas has finally caved in and WILL release the original Star Wars Trilogy (or at least the Special Edition version of said trilogy) on DVD this September.
For more information feel free to click away.

The Fairly Oddparents are at Burger King all this month and for most of March.

Both Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia on Buffy and Angel) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy... on some show that's title escapes me at the moment) are leading contenders for the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming flick.
I think Charisma's a much better match, but since when has Hollywood listened to me?

The Abridged Cat in the Hat script.

Check out these promotional pics from the new Batman cartoon coming to the WB and Cartoon Network later this year.

Here's an article giving more of the details on the show itself.
I like the design work I've seen so far, and it sounds like a pretty interesting take on the character.. so as you may have already assumed, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

X2 director Bryan Singer and screenwriters Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty have just been announced as the new writing team for Marvel Comics' Ultimate X-Men. No word on when their run will begin or who will be handling the art chores. Regardless, this sounds good to me.

Kiera Knightly (Pirates of the Caribbean) is in talks to play the starring role in a movie adaptation of I Dream of Jeannie.

October 5 will see Disney releasing a 2-disc special edition of Aladdin. Just thought some of you might like to know.

I just liked this thing, so here it is..

Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell have both just signed to star in a feature film version of Bewitched.
For some reason I think I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
