It's like a disease, son..

Speaking of Final Crisis, Orion is a pretty crucial character in that series, and thanks to Joel, I am the proud owner of the original art from this awesome Michael Cho pin-up.
I'm a very lucky dude.

You act real rude to me..

Well, Final Crisis #2 came and went yesterday for myself as well as a number (hopefully a large number) of other people and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's awesomeness was grand in scope.
That is what I am trying to say.

My only complaint (and you may have already seen my Twittering about this) was how poorly PhotoShopped the "Flash cover" was.
Just awful.
Like they had to get him on that black background in less than a minute or the thing wasn't going to ship on time.
If the Flash and Black Racer are the "red and black" mentioned in DC Universe #0 and they needed Flash to be on a black background for the cover (instead of white) to get this point across, would it have really been so difficult to ask JG Jones to paint the black background himself?

I take that back, I do have one other complaint, and that is that I don't want to have to wait another month for the next issue.

Such is life in the funnybooks.

Here are the other links you need to check out once you've read it, as these are the people's opinions I care about/enjoy hearing.

There are plenty of others, but you can find and enjoy those yourself.

We're all shook up about this..

"I'm hella jumping!"

Today's Final Crisis #2 Day!
I cannot wait to read it, even though I know it's going to be torture waiting a month for the next issue.

You know what we'll do?

What do you think?

I'm not gonna follow up on it..

This show's looking better all the time, however I have to say that it is sporting what I think may be the gayest Aquaman design.. ever.
I mean, he looks like he just stepped out of a Steve Reeves Hercules movie.
And I like those movies.
Don't get me wrong, I'm completely fine with gay characters, but Aquaman's not supposed to be gay, right?
Right?

Actually, I wouldn't mind them making him gay at all if it'd get them publishing his comic again. That guy just can't catch a break.
Sigh.
I miss you, Aquaman.

Why can't we be friends..

As you may or may not know, I spent the weekend at HeroesCon thanks to some very kind people at the CBLDF.

Curt and I got to talk to Jimmy Palmiotti for a little bit away from the convention itself, and I was really impressed by his honesty and his attitude towards his own work as well as the industry (the good and the bad) itself.
This interview with him over at Newsarama only serves to reinforce my opinion of him as a good guy.

Much more on HeroesCon and it's high levels of awesomeness to come, including the greatest picture ever in the history of greatness or ever!
