Hey, sign this petition for me, ok? Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
And don't forget to scroll down and check out any stuff you may have missed over the past few days.
Update: I'd like to thank (G.I.) Jack for being the only person so far to sign the friggin' petition for me. Much appreciated my friend. Hope the shoulder is doing well.

As most of you already know, I really love Mega Man. However, most of you probably don't know that there is currently a Mega Man animated series airing in Japan based on the Mega Man Battle Network games for Game Boy Advance. Since the game will probably never be a big enough hit over here in the States to merit the show being brought over here, I felt it was in my best interest to get some copies of the show straight from Japan. After a few minutes of viewing these shows however, I realized that I do not, in fact, speak or understand Japanese. I then set out to find subtitled versions of these same episodes. I was able to complete this mission with a high level of success. And since my victory is your victory, I thought I'd share the actual translation of the Rockman EXE (as the show is called in Japan) theme song....
Guide your Navi towards the future!
There isn't anywhere we can't go!
You and I can soar past the wind!
A mystery is spreading in the heart of town.
The clues to the elusive reality are slipping away.
Can't sit still any longer... Want to find it now.
Plug in your courage and plunge forward!
It's becoming urgent... We'll solve that puzzle!
Oh Rockman, together we'll find the answer.
Even if we have to battle on till the very end...
I won't give up... as long as you're there, I won't give in!!

Take a look around your room, or house, or wherever it is that you're reading this. I bet the walls are looking like they could use something new and exciting on them. How about some posters? Or perhaps these posters?

I just added a new photo album to the Pictures section of Hip Today. It's at the bottom of the list, labeled Random 3. You should go check it out.
And now, let's hear from Seanbaby on Green Lantern: Green Lantern's ring was the most powerful weapon in the universe except against the color yellow. I'm not kidding, his weakness was the color yellow. You might think he'd try to keep something like that secret, but there is nothing Green Lantern liked to talk about more. He'd wave a fist at the bad guys and shout, "Justice will prevail today, villains! Unless you learn that my power energy cannot affect that which is yellow!" And to make Green Lantern the most unlucky person in the universe, his nemesis Sinestro had a ring that made things that were yellow. That's like twin brothers fighting, only one gets baseball bat with spikes and has a giant purple head.

I got an e-mail a few days ago from someone telling me of a band that was going to be coming here very soon, but I can't remember who sent it to me, or what band it was. So if you were that person, or if you know of some good bands that are going to be coming here soon, please please call me or e-mail me and let me know.
Also, in other music related news, the good people at 94.1 The Buzz have been good enough to listen to my requests that they start playing Weezer's Keep Fishin' more often. This pleases me greatly. So if you're in my area, keep your ears open for it.

Why aren't we talking about Ninja Gaiden?
Come to think of it, why aren't we talking about Strider either?
And here's some news that's sure to please Chris McCarver.

You know, I had heard that this whole Dance Dance Revolution thing was earning it's title as it was truly becoming a revolution of the dance dancing variety. However, I had no idea that the people that were telling me this weren't lying until within the course of a week I saw these machines in every arcade I happened by with throngs of sweaty teenagers huddled about them like apes around the Monolith in 2001 (A Space Odyssey). And since this revolution is now upon us, I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't help you get to know the people you'll be facing in the Dance Dance Battles that are sure to take place much sooner than we would hope.
The all new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon debuts on Cartoon Network this Friday, and I don't think I should have to say anything else about the subject. I'm going to trust that you're intelligent enough to know that you shouldn't just want to watch it, you should need to watch it. Here's three pictures from the show for you to check out as well.
Or you can join the Captain Planet Foundation.

How'd you like to win a trip to see Def Leppard in concert, front row, all expenses paid? How'd you like to take me if you enter this sweepstakes and win? Well, you had better like it, because if you win you'd dang well better take me.

Since I know you kids look to me to help you form your opinions on what's good and what is not in the world of music (I'm kidding of course), I felt it was my duty to make sure all of you know about two bands.
The first one is a band out of Alabama whom I have been a really big fan of for quite some time now called Pain. You should be able to check some of their stuff out on their site, but if you can't listen to any of it just go ahead and buy one of their CDs from their merchandise section. It'll be well worth it I assure you.
The other band is Kevin Martin and the HiWatts. For those of you that were Candlebox fans (I count myself as a very vocal member of that category) you may recognize that name. Regardless of whether you recognize it or not, or if you liked Candlebox or not, you should check this band out. Choice rock and roll my friends.
Warning on a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals."
On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use."
You're a kind and gentle person with a dark past that haunts you. But you find happiness in your friends and by protecting the weak and oppressed. Let's face it. You kick ass!
