I can't believe I'm really here..

I got this guy at lunch today.

From the Transformers wiki :

Soundwave transforms into a Scion xB that got a "Pimp My Ride" music style treatment. That's awesome. He also comes with his partner Laserbeak, who changes from a guitar to a bird. Also awesome. In Soundwave's car mode, Laserbeak can mount on the top of his roof and perch onto Soundwave's arm in robot mode. Very awesome. And the tuning knobs are just the right size to fit in the screwholes on his arms, so he can look like he's strumming Laserbeak when in guitar form. Extremely awesome.

So, the new Transformers cartoon hit DVD this week, and with it the onslaught of series based toys at most retail outlets that sell such things.

I like the show, and I like the toys.

As you might have gathered.

I just think the designs are really fun, and I applaud Derrick Wyatt (who I am a big fan of) for them.

Target has a good deal on the DVD if you're interested in that you can get it for $12.99 and it comes with a bonus disc. That was the best deal I found at least.

I dig it. I mean, it's not the Lion version from Transformers : The Movie, but it's not bad.
If you're still hungry for more Transformers, Animated Toast! has 7 different versions of the theme, including the previously mentioned Lion version.

So, I saw a sneak preview of TRANSFORMERS last night.
I'm not sure if I want to write any kind of review, but I wanted to at least mention that I've seen it.
And I have opinions.

Would it really have been so hard for them to have the real trailers be this good?
