Trust me, it's worth looking at.
I appreciate how it mirrors the original teaser poster for Fellowship.
I imagine the final one sheet will be even more awe-inspiring though.
This is worth seeing as well I think... if you like this kind of thing.
Is it news to anyone besides me that Cap'n Crunch had an official arch-enemy besides sogginess? Even more surprising is that it's this guy.
I haven't read this book (I hope to soon though), but they're making a movie of it. Read more won't you?

Tycho chimes in about this whole RIAA business: "Let's say these guys do start arresting people for downloading music, for having these files. I don't share their view that this terror will cause people to stop doing these things. Here's what I think it will do: instigate a mass evolution in public digital consciousness. Because that's the other way it turns out - instead of people being scared, they defend themselves with new technologies designed to obfuscate their origins. Because if regular people, my mom included, begin to understand the personal and political ramifications of encryption? Think about it. It's not impossible."

"This latest effort really indicates the recording industry has lost touch with reality completely," said Fred von Lohmann, a lawyer for the Electronic Frontier Foundation. "Does anyone think more lawsuits are going to be the answer? Today they have declared war on the American consumer."
This is serious business for some of you so reading it would be a good idea.

The Highs and Lows of Character Design. I enjoyed this article.
Some glorious quotes from Corey..
About the lady managing the new video game store near us: "She's a f***in' liar. I saw right through her bulls***."
About people in general: "I mean, everything I say, especially to girls, they take in some weird motherf***ing way."
That guy is too funny.
You don't even know.

The new rumor is that Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation) has now been chosen to direct the new Superman flick.
I have no idea if he's a good man for this job or not, but supposedly he's chosen Jason Behr from the WB show Roswell as his pick to play the Man of Steel.
I took a look at this kid, and to be honest with you, I think I could go for it.
I mean he's a handsome kid, but he looks like he can be kinda dorky looking as well, and he's pretty ripped.
I've never seen that Roswell show, so I don't know how his acting is, but I think he could at least look the part.
He's a faaaaar better choice than freakin' Paul Walker... this much I know to be true.

In case you didn't see the trailer for the new Peter Pan flick from Aussie director P.J. Hogan, the official site is now up and running. It's worth checking out for the trailer alone.
Also, on the subject of movies, there's a rumor floating about that the next Star Wars will be called "Revenge of the Sith".
I guess we shall see.
There's also talk of The Rock possibly playing Captain Marvel/Shazam in the upcoming flick. I think he'd be better as Black Adam (the evil version of Captain Marvel for the non-comic initiated amongst you), but I think he's trying to develop an image as a "good guy/hero" in Hollywood.
Dah, well.

For those that missed this year's MTV Movie Awards.. this was quite memorable.
