She's going to review EVERY issue of the Knightfall story (from Batman comics (from that most terrifying of times for comics, the 90s)).
I applaud her for this, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't also fearing for her sanity.

For those of you that missed it, we have uncovered what really happened to Batman in Final Crisis #6.
I think this is week has been Let's Be Friends Again's best week ever, in that the comics we have done this week both make me very proud to have been involved with them.
It is my hope that if you have not already seen this week's comics you will check them out and enjoy them thoroughly.
It is also my sincere hope that people will continue to enjoy them so much so that they tell other people (emailing, linking, blogging, Digging, Stumbling, whatever).
I am not a marketing or internet expert so I have no idea on how better to do this, but I think we are making comics that certain audiences will enjoy if we can only find a way to get said comics to said audiences.
It is my hope that those of you who are already enjoying them will continue to help us out in this respect.

I think this is the best explanation of Batman R.I.P. I have read..

Grant Morrison is trying to make a few points when it comes to Batman in my opinion. The point of RIP wasn't whether he killed Batman or not nor was it whether he killed Bruce or not. Instead it was asking the question about Batman, if you take it all away is he still Batman. If you make it that the parents that he fights for were maniacs and whores, if you make it that Robin, Nightwing and Alfred leave him, if you make it that all the money makes no difference, if you make it that he has no gadgets, no jets, no cars and no Justice League and all he has is his body and his training and his mind, Bruce or no Bruce, is Batman still Batman. RIP showed that he is. That no matter what you do to him and no matter what you take, he is and always will be Batman. - from xelas5674's comment on a review of Final Crisis #6 over at Newsarama

I wanna do right, but not right now..

As we can see from this (not great) scan/cameraphone photo (?) from the upcoming issue of Toyfare, Mattel is finally going to take advantage of the fact that they have the license to make figures from any DC Comics movie.
Of course, if you are like me I know that you are now waiting with baited breath to see if we'll finally get the one figure everyone wants : Shaquille O'Neal as STEEL!*


* - I am completely kidding, Mattel. Please do not take this seriously. A Christopher Reeve as Superman is what everyone wants. You have to know this, right? I mean, there's no way they don't know, right? Right?!
