How about a look at some screen grabs from the Uncut Japanese version of Kill Bill Vol. 1?

USA Today has news on some of the spceial features and goodies on the upcoming Star Wars Original Trilogy DVD Collection.

Alex Ross has done two poster mock-ups for a Superman feature film starring Tom Welling (of Smallville).
For the full story as well as a look at the pictures click here.

Mitsuteru Yokohama, the creator of Gigantor and Mighty Robo, has died at the age of 69 due to a fire at his home in Tokyo.

Richard Linklater is working on a follow-up to Waking Life called A Scanner Darkly.
I say follow-up only because this film too will be turning live-action footage into animated sequences.

Because no one demanded it, production is moving forward on Police Academy 9.

Speaking of sequels, Carrie-Anne Moss has signed on for Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 3.

Details on the special edition DVD releases of Predator and The Bourne Identity (which will include a new beginning and ending).

The following is straight from Dark Horizons:
Jurassic Park IV
For a long time we've heard talk about Spielberg's 'great idea' for the story of the fourth "Jurassic Park" movie that has gotten people exicted about the franchise. Well long time DH informer 'Undergear' finally has the scoop on what that idea might be:

"All these rumors about Jurassic Park 4 are false. They are retooling the script (out to big name doctors right now) But here's the worst part... All this talk about this "brilliant" idea, well... I cannot begin to tell you how bad his idea is...The government has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes. I am not kidding!"

A great Rolling Stone article on The Burden Brothers.
A band which I endorse 100%.
You should too.
Or at least check them out.

I know Spike TV isn't too worried about any controversy stemming from things said on their new animated series This Just In.
How do I know they're not worried?
Because no one is watching it.
Someone has to watch it to get offended and start complaining.
That's just how these things work.
I happened across it last night, and I've got to say, it really wasn't that bad.
Maybe people should start watching it.
I guarantee if they do, someone will find something to complain about.. and fast.

Ever wonder what went on during the time when Palpatine trained Darth Vader?

I didn't get to see The Punisher this weekend, but I wanted to see it.
I did draw a quick sketch of the guy though for Shawn.
That has to count for something, right?
Well, hopefully, I'll see it at some point this week.
Here's the sketch.

(Shawn didn't ask for the sketch, I just know he likes The Punisher, and I hadn't seen him in a while, so I thought I'd draw him something.)
