The trailer for the new film from the creators of South Park has just been released.
It's called Team America : World Police.
I'm already excited.
Go see it at a theater near you in October.

Coming even sooner though, is a film who's jump across the pond I've been anxiously anticipating for some time now.
That film is Shaun of the Dead, a twisted UK horror romantic zombie comedy which will finally see a US release on September 24.
The film boasts a soundtrack that featuers some of my favorite bands, as well as cameos in the film from members of Ash and Coldplay to name a few.
Watch the trailer here.

Have a look at these pictures from Fox's next computer animated movie, Robots.
Picture 1
Picture 2
The flick is the work of Ice Age's Chris Wedge and will feature the voices of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, and Greg Kinnear among others.

I don't see how this movie can be anything but amazing.

Robert Rodriguez' silver screen version of Frank Miller's SIN CITY may become the best comic adaptation ever.
I'm frightened by how good this movie looks like it's going to turn out. Click here and then here to see what I mean.

Things are on the move.
Stickers are available.
Buttons are GO!

The site is almost up and jogging.
The first official show with the new name and line-up is just around the corner.
Keep August 7 open.

"The SuperFriends are Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman... and a host of characters who don't even deserve their own pamphlet, let alone a comic book. This collection of four color legends and heaps of racial stereotypes exist to battle the forces of evil in any way they can, usually by talking in a stoic voice and seeing the flaw in their master plan. Or by punching them in their goddamn face. That works too."

Check out the first poster for BATMAN BEGINS.

Who wouldn't love this shirt?

Okay, here's the deal.
Imagine Rocky, but instead of boxing, it's wrestling.
Then set it in Japan instead of America.
Then replace an Italian guy with a giant squid.
After you've stopped going insane, watch the trailer.

Speaking of Asian insanity, you might as well watch this trailer also.

Check out this e-card for the new ASH single, Starcrossed.
You can also enter to win an XBOX.

Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects, Apt Pupil, X-Men 1 & 2) has been named as the director to restart the Superman franchise for Warner Bros. He'll be bringing Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris along with him to write the script after the three worked so well together penning the second X-Men flick.

It's come to my attention that The WB has a new show based on "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour" called "Blue Collar TV". After hearing about this show I decided, in my infinite generosity, to help The WB by sending them my idea for a new name for the show that I think will really help bring in those key demographic numbers: Idiot TV. Doesn't that say it all so much more succinctly?

For those of you that are all about the bargain, Best Buy has Starsky & Hutch for $15.99 and both of the new Adult Swim releases (ATHF S2 & Sealab 2021 S1) for $24.99.

The loooooong delayed Special Edition Ed Wood DVD will finally be hitting store shelves (fingers crossed) on October 19.
Mandy Moore's Saved! will be coming to DVD on October 5. Also look for Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends Season 2 on August 31, Super Size Me! and Ellen Season 1 on September 28.

VAN HALSING : The Abridged Script
(Note: If you've never read one of these.. they're funny.)

Before Nancy Reagan came along with her left-field "Just Say No" campaign, it was common practice for children's shows to not only condone, but actively endorse, the virtues of hard drug use.

If you enjoyed Spider-Man 2 or think Legos or stop-motion is cool or if you'd just like to watch something that's pretty rad, I'd suggest you visit this little link here.

Another great interview with MST3K's Mike Nelson.

I don't think I'm wrong in thinking that commercials were pretty great in the 80s. Here's one now.. for Bonkers!.. a candy you may recall.

That's right. This is the company that employs me.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is being made into a Broadway musical called "Spamalot" and some pretty talented folk are going to be starring in it. Read more, won't you?

Original edutainment show Mr. Wizard is now on DVD. The reason you haven't seen it during your weekly perusals of the "Science" section of your favorite DVD store is because it's only available via this website.

Sounds spooky, right?
Check out the trailer for The Grudge, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and based on the Japanese series Ju-On.
Looks pretty gosh damn creepy to me.

The highly praised Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind will be coming to DVD on September 28. I wanted to see the flick back when it was in theaters, but didn't get to due to a series of unfortunate events in my lovelife.
Speaking of bad things happening to people in a succession of sorts and while we're on the subject of Jim Carrey movies, why not go watch this trailer as well?
Jude Law's voice is in it as well.

Speaking of DVDs due in September, Mean Girls will be released on the 21st.. normally, I wouldn't care, but Tina Fey is providing commentary for the flick along with the director. So I may be forced to at least rent it.

Wow.
All the trailers I'd seen here stateside for I, Robot made it look like complete ass... but this trailer for the flick from Japan makes me want to see it.
Odd.

A sketch of The Tick I did, and then played around with on Photoshop.
