Wow, I remember watching that when it aired. All I recall about it was a very sad scene after the storm troopers had ransacked the Wookie household, and the littlest Wookie found where they'd ripped the head off his/her stuffed Banta doll. The littlest Joel was pretty close to tears over that.

Also, I remember wondering why it wasn't nearly as good as the movie.

I don't recall wondering why Mark Hamill was wearing more makeup than any of the aliens.
