have a little fun..
So it's exactly one month until my birthday.
I didn't even realize that until someone else pointed it out to me.
That's all I've got on that.
I saw Brick last night, and I loved it. If you have even a passing interest in mysteries, crime-noir, sharp dialogue, great scores/soundtracks, brilliant camera-work, well directed movies, you'd be doing yourself a big favor by checking this flick out.
Here's a picture of April and I that I vectorized..

i'll be there with bells on..
Nintendo Wii news from Infendo.com : A Japanese financial prediction for Wii's pricing suggests a $200 launch price. IGN writes: "Current exchange rates would put an equivalent US price at $170.00. However, console prices rarely convert according to exchange rates. At most, we can probable take this report to indicate an anticipated US price of under $200."

can't be ignored..
One of the artists who worked on the film tells us why The Ant Bully was "a big stinking pile of average corporate mush".
Cars 2 already on DVD?
Speaking of Cars, did any of you see it?

Are you okay?
In case you were wondering, that part where Superman saves the shuttle and the airplane is the greatest thing I've ever seen ever.
Best thing ever.
Also, if you haven't seen Superman Returns, and don't know what I'm talking about, we are not friends.

i hate arrows..
So I feel completely drunk.
I'm not drunk.
I've not had anything to drink in I don't know how long, but I feel full-on sloshed.
I woke up and my equilibrium was way off and I can't hear right out of one of my ears.
What's the deal?

Edward and I used to take root beer seriously.
Very seriously.
In much the same way that Corey and I used to take everything with which we endeavored into very seriously, so was Edward and I's gusto and forthrightness towards the beer of roots.
Reflection on this subject made me miss the kind of girlfriendless camraderie he and I used to share.
This is not to say that I wish to be emancipated from the bonds of serious-relationship-hood and flung back to those days long past.
Far from it.
It is only to say that the days when he and I could seriously consider a trip to Nashville or a trip cross-country with equal vigor and plausability are missed.
I don't know if you know this about me, but I enjoy driving. Not your everyday to work, ho-hum, back home kind of driving. Not your, "Why don't we go to the mall?" driving.
No, I'm enamored of real driving. Interstates. Nothing but blacktop in front of you, and the yellow lines behind you. Nothing on either side of for as far as the eye can see.
Road signs and rest stops and tourist traps.
That kind of driving.
I miss the idea of he and I being able to do that some day.

'Cause I can do most anything...
So Matt and Tracy and April and I spent about 8 hours (in-game) playing Dead Rising for the 360 last night.
Unbelievable.
That's really all I can say.
The game was like a dream come true. Or a nightmare come true. A zombie nightmare.
I cut a zombie in half with a scythe Grim Reaper style.
I smashed the window out of a music store and then knocked a zombie's head off with a Stratocaster.
I crushed a zombie's skull with a sledgehammer.
I can't imagine what else you need in a game.

I've tried it all and I'm tired of tryin'..
Homer: Do you sell toys?
Shopkeep: We sell forbidden objects from places men fear to tread. We also sell frozen yogurt, which I call frogurt. Homer: Well I need something for my son's birthday.
Shopkeep: Ah, perhaps this will please the gentleman (points to a talking Krusty the Clown doll). Take this object , but beware it carries a terrible curse.
Homer: Oh, that's bad.
Shopkeep: But it comes with a free frogurt.
Homer: That's good.
Shopkeep: The frogurt is also cursed.
Homer: That's bad.
Shopkeep: But you get your choice of topping.
Homer: That's good.
Shopkeep: The toppings contain potassium benzoate.
Homer: (blank stare)
Shopkeep: That's bad.
Homer: Can I go now?
