Something special...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another which states that this has already happened.

Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive sneak peek of Final Crisis #1.

Yet again, we blog about the same thing within minutes of one another. One day we will post on the same topic at the same time and the world will explode.

And it will be awesome.

Jason, EW's been on board for a while now. I actually pretty much love that magazine. To bits. Sort of.

Dylan - My big problem with EW is how bad they are about completely changing their view on something. Like some new album or movie is coming out and they're all about how incredible it is, then 6 months later if it underperformed or wasn't as big a hit as some people thought it was going to be they'll act like they knew it was going to be bad.

so does this mean that when the whole comic book craze finally reaches it's peak to eventually implode on itself again like it's 1994 thus rendering itself as useless to hollywood as a variant,chromium,die-cut cover zero issue of Anti-Venom that EW won't dedicate pages of their magazine to comics anymore??????????

and if you want an HONEST, non EW opinion on a new album...

i've been listening to the self-titled debut album from Santogold and it's pretty cool. i've noticed M.I.A on yer finetune. if you like her i'm pretty positive you'll dig Santogold!

Re: EW,it's by no means the be-all-end-all of pop culture reportage, but it's fairly expansive in terms of what they cover, the reviews are normally reasonable and it's well-designed. And it's, uh, weekly. If you can cut past the obligatory puff piece hype that fills the middle matter, it's not bad bathroom reading.

Plus, Stephen King's "The Pop Of King" column is always worth reading.

Also, I get it free with my credit card miles.
