I got to see Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit finally tonight. It was fantastic. Completely fantastic. It was funny how the short featuring "The Madagascar Penguins", though cute, only serves to show how much better W&G are. There's a big difference between tacky/sappy forced sentiment and genuine heart.

i'm sorry you had to wait so damn long to see Wallace & Gromit. That was a most fantastic movie, heavily-packed with wonderful jokes and amazing stop-motion animation. i'm sorry that stop-motion seems to be a dying art and that nick park and tim burton seem to be the only ones truly interested in keeping it afloat. sure, computer animated movies look pretty, but the skill and talent put into making a stop-motion movie is amazing and unreplaceable by computers. anyway, that's my rant for today.
