Anyone else ready to see that new Harry Potter flick? I just saw the latest international trailer for it, and it looks incredible. I sincerely hope that these movies stay profitable enough for all of the books to get made. Into movies, I mean... because there's no way I'm actually going to read them all.

If you didn't already know TiVo is fantastically magical.

The Family Guy movie lands on DVD this Tuesday, so if you're a fan be sure to keep an eye out for it... though chances are, if you're a fan you already knew that.

yeah, the newest harry potter does look quite good. and i'm glad they were able to make it PG-13, because, unlike you, i have read all the books. i read them all in like 2 weeks because i was insanely bored. anyway, this book is fairly dark and violent, so at least the rating reflects that.

i hate you because you have TiVo.

i did know about the family guy, but i don't know how thrilled about it i am. i've heard that it's no more than an extra long episode and the main reason for a movie is to have no restriction on language, which seems sort of cheap on the producers' part. i mean, if you can make a joke just as funny without resorting to profanity, which family guy has done time and time again, then why feel the need to add profanity. still, having said all that, i'll probably still buy it. i'm such a hypocrite.

if amputations and cold-blooded murder and a lake full of dead bodies that return to life is for kids, then yes, i suppose harry potter is for children.

good call.
