Batman Begins is coming to DVD on October 18 along with Batman : The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997.
As you might have guessed, I'll be buying both of these.

Feel free to also pick up George Romero's Land of the Dead on DVD the same day.

Or pick up The Bruce Lee Ultimate Collection 5 DVD Set that day as well.

I read in USA Today about Batman Begins being released in two editions, a single-disc with no special features and a double-disc set with bunches of special stuff. My reaction was, Why? Who would buy a DVD with no special features? I just hope Chris Nolan and Christian Bale do a commentary track. I love commentary tracks.

Oh, and "The 40 Year Old Virgin" is pretty funny.

I might see that flick tonight.

As to the one and two disc versions, you'd be surprised how much of the Wal-Mart shopping populace could care less if there's any special features on a DVD. I guess I should really say the shopping populace in general though, because my understanding of many a DVD buying phenomenon was honed from my years at Best Buy.
