I'm going to quote this directly from Newsarama:
Jim Krueger (Universe X) signed a deal with Image to produce a four issue mini-series called The Last Straw Man due out in October. "It's set in the Old West," he said. "A cowardly guy dresses up as a scarecrow to bring justice to a small town. It's basically a Western Batman. I was inspired by reading about the real cowboy gunfighter, Doc Holliday."
Tell me that doesn't sound like a great idea. Jim Krueger is a genius and a half.
