Ever wonder what went on during the time when Palpatine trained Darth Vader?
I didn't get to see The Punisher this weekend, but I wanted to see it.
I did draw a quick sketch of the guy though for Shawn.
That has to count for something, right?
Well, hopefully, I'll see it at some point this week.
Here's the sketch.
(Shawn didn't ask for the sketch, I just know he likes The Punisher, and I hadn't seen him in a while, so I thought I'd draw him something.)

HOLY HELL!
ASH are going to be involved with Star Wars in some way!
Here's the details.
Eddie Izzard has been added to the cast of a new movie with an fairly impressive cast... not Sin City impressive, but it does share an actor or two with said film.
This is pretty funny.

So what's Damon Albarn been up to?
The future of Blur, Gorillaz, and more.
Doug brought to my attention the fact that I had neglected to mention that "Weird" Al will be playing in our general area soon.
The exact date? April 24
The exact place? The Grand Casino Event Center
I just figured most of you had already made your plans to see him well in advance, and my telling you was unnecessary.
In case you hadn't though, now you know.
Maggie is an artist like you don't even want to know about.. because she's too good.
Go look.
Picture of the Day... and another... you know, for fun.

Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson, says The Simpsons feature film is still probably 5 years away.
Ron Perleman and Thomas Jane have confirmed there will be at least one sequel to both Hellboy and The Punisher... though neither will have much to do with the other.
Due to the script being leaked during the last week, the producers have decided to wait even longer before unveiling the new costume Christian Bale will be wearing in Batman Begins.
Star Wars : Episode III will hit theaters on May 19, 2005.
Heath Ledger may be the next James Bond.
John Woo has acquired the rights to Metroid, and plans on doing a big-budget feature film version for the summer of 2006.

I guess someone needs to congratulate Hong Kong, because they've built Robocop.. and probably doomed us all to a life lived in subservience to robot overlords.
C'mon, we all saw those Terminator flicks.. you know it's only a matter of time.
I know it's not Christmas, but this is simply too funny.
Wrong, but funny.
Very funny.
You have to have sound for it to be funny though.

I just like the name.
The Accidental Video Game Porn Archive.
Pretty funny.
The entire first Superman comic, Action Comics #1, from 1938 is now online for your viewing pleasure.
As much as I like the real video for "Hey Ya", I think I may like this one more.

I just found out Nintendo will be releasing a new version of Mario Tennis for the Gamecube.
I'm psyched.
A movie.. about dodgeball?
And it's called Dodgeball?
And Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are the stars?
Okay, you got me.

If there's anything out there as wonderful as this, I haven't found it..
The Adventures of Seinfeld and Superman!
Harvard says downloading (of the illegal variety) is NOT responsible for the slump in records sales.
Ash (the one with the Boomstick) is making his way to comics.
Mothman lives!
The first pictures of the new Batmobile?
If I could only recommend one comic to a person, this would definitely be on the list of possible candidates: INVINCIBLE: Family Matters (Vol. 1)
You could waste $10 on a lot worse.
It's worth giving a try.
Actually, you can go here and check out the entire first issue...
then read the first issues of Grrl Scouts, The Clockmaker, and Powers.
Chances are you'll thank me.
And if you're bored and at work, even if you don't like the comics, at least it will have killed some time.

I adopted a lil' Superman fetus
from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!
Also, I'd like to thank Tara and Edward for being the only two people I know of from this site to try to keep Home Movies on the air.
Edward's comments were especially well delivered.

Some things are worth fighting for.. and The Wizard's Baker is one of them.
For those of you that are interested in hearing other people discuss Dawn of the Dead (and I'm sure there are a few of you out there), why not have a look at The Cinemarati Roundtable?
Comcast has bought cable network, TechTV for $300 million.
Comcast plans on merging it with it's video game channel, G4.
I enjoy both channels, so I'm not particularly happy to hear this as it means there'll be less video game stuff on G4, and less... tech on television in general.

You're Ulysses!
by James Joyce
Most people are convinced that you don't make any sense, but compared
to what else you could say, what you're saying now makes tons of sense. What people do
understand about you is your vulgarity, which has convinced people that you are at once
brilliant and repugnant. Meanwhile you are content to wander around aimlessly, taking in
the sights and sounds of the city. What you see is vast, almost limitless, and brings you
additional fame. When no one is looking, you dream of being a Greek folk hero.

The official site for BATMAN BEGINS is now online.
There's nothing there yet, except for the new logo/emblem, but it does look pretty right on.
Speaking of superhero movies, rumor has it that Jake Gyllenhaal is Kevin Smith's first choice to play The Green Hornet.
Quite a bit of news on Sin City.
"Show of hands: who here misses the days of extended guitar solos, striped leotards, falsetto vocals and songs demanding, 'Get your hands off my woman'? Yeah, me too. THE DARKNESS is here to put that hickey back on your neck, fire up the Camaro and party down at the nearest parking lot like it's 1979. Is the band for real? Yes. Does it rock? Yes. Is it hard to get around the multiple-octave range that Justin Hawkins is ripping in every song? Well, a little, but the band is gaining speed here in the States after selling more than a million copies of 'Permission to Land' (Atlantic) in its native Britain. I'll take THE DARKNESS over those whiny emo bands any day. At least they're getting chicks." - Dave MF'ing Grohl
There are a number of CDs worth checking out coming Tuesday.
