the beginning reminded me more of the flight of the conchords skit where they sing "what's wrong with the world today" where they ask questions like "why are babies killin babies?" and "why are we payin so much for sneakers?"
after the singing then it turned into kick ass! i would've loved to have seen him get run over by a car though!
Jason - I'd agree with that assessment (is that too many Ss?) completely.
As to Kick Ass, I've chosen to wait until a little further into the series before I pass any judgment on it one way or the other. I'll say the first issue certainly made me feel bad for that kid.
Awesome!! I thought he would get shot or something. That is pretty much Kick-Ass in three minutes.

Adam - I believe that's a repainted Batman & Robin style Robin costume. I'm not certain though.
