I really wish I could say I was excited about this, but I get the distinct feeling that two three-hour movies is going to be one too many. After the glorious bloatedness (in a good way) of the LOTR movies, it would be really refreshing to see a tight, simple Hobbit movie instead of a padded out mini-saga.
Oh, who am I trying to kid with my hipster detachment? Hobbits rule. I'll be there.
Also, WTH? "Bloated", "padding"... I sound like a Tampax commercial here.
Well that just makes my geek heart go pitter-pat! Now it really will be a merry Christmas!

Joel - Over "The Hobbit" or the eeevil galaxy?
ReplyDeleteDylan - I think I'm right there with you.. about "The Hobbit" part, not the Tampax commercial part.
